One of FlowMotion.Life's favourite yoga teacher, Alan David Elworthy, is returning to Matlock to share with us the beautiful Budokon Yoga Primary Series on September 23rd at 9:30-13:00. If you have never done it before, you so need to do this. If you have done it before, you know you want to do it again. Budokon is a style that is incredibly graceful, strong and a little challenging.
"A blend of martial arts and yoga, the Budokon® style is best described as a hatha style with continuous circular rotation that focuses on transitional movement. It is an athletic flow of constant and mindful movement, incorporating elements of strength and agility that are often left out by traditional yogic practices.
Budokon Yoga unites the distinctive elements of two worlds, martial arts and yoga, to offer the benefits of both disciplines: self-awareness, concentration, courage, emotional and physical healing, and freedom from fear."
The word Budokon, rooted in Japanese, means the way of the warrior spirit. Well, who better than Alan David Elworthy (apart from Cameron Shayne, the founder of the style, of course) to teach this? Alan is a Cho Dan (first degree black belt in Tang Soo Do Karate and a Sun Power Yoga and Budokon Yoga certified teacher.
This workshop is £40 per person and is open to yogis of all level as long as they are not totally new to yoga.
