Stever Morvell is an environmental artist, dedicated to raising human awareness of the beauty and fragility of wildlife and the habitats in which we co-exist. Over 36 years as a full-time professional artist, Steve's deep need to understand animals on their own terms has taken him to many wild places whilst researching his art. He is a quadruple Gold Medal winner with the Wildlife Art Society of Australasia.
The Shining Light is Steve's most comprehensive exhibition ever, displaying over 50 major artworks, encompassing fabulous paintings and drawings of creatures from around the world. This exhibition is like travelling to Western China, South Africa, Botswana, living with sea lions in the wilderness of Kangaroo Island and sharing Steve's own home in his beloved Grampians National Park where he lives surrounded by the creatures he loves so passionately.
Every exhibition he has held in his career has raised funds and awareness for conservation and this one is no exception. Steve has chosen Creating for Conservation as the beneficiary for this exhibition. Part of the funds raised will go to support their wonderful conservation and children's education programs in Zambia.
