Mon Rot Fai known as "Railway Sleepers" in English explores the Thai people's connection to traveling by rail.

The film provides viewers a chance to look at the beautiful chaos that is life on a Thai train.

The audience taken through the a full two-day and two-night trip from the north Thailand to the south.

There is no voice-over, no actors, just life on a Thai train.

Director Sompot Chidgasornpongse notes that Trains are his favorite form of transportation because it brings strangers together as they "cross paths moving ahead in similar directions but with different destinations."

This movie is Chidgasornpongse's expression of his love for his home and his favorite way to get around as Thailand's trains bring it from the past towards the future.

Admission is free for FCCT Members and 150 Baht for Non-Members
