Full Potential Dance Company presents Battle for Tri-City 2018:

Battle for Tri-City (BFT) is an annual, all-genre dance competition and Urban 2v2 battles (ages 18 and under), that is hosted for multiple teams and clubs in the bay area. This competition is a fundraiser for Complex Dance Competition (which will be held at Chabot College on August 18th, 2018); in association with the All The Way Live foundation. The All The Way Live foundation a non-profit organization that utilizes dance as a means to reach out to underprivileged and at-risk youth in marginalized communities.

The winning contestants of BFT will be crowned as the 2018 champions of Tri-City. The winners will also be awarded with a cash prize, trophy (and bragging rights for a year)!

* Urban - Community/Industry style
Foundational Hip-Hop (popping/locking/breaking, etc.) may be used but Urban style must be dominant

Battles will be judged based on:
1. Musicality (beat and rhythm execution, as well as mood matching of the song)
2. Performance (facials, character and presentation)
3. Creativity (ability to create new movement and/or style)


BFT is a donation-based competition so admission is FREE, please help us by sharing this event!
