When we think of a college student, a young adult between the ages of 18 and 22 typically comes to mind. However, more than 40 percent of today’s college students are over 25 years old. In order to meet the needs of the growing population of adult learners, colleges and universities offer programs specifically designed for working adults.
This session will provide information on selecting the right degree, applying for financial aid, and various scholarships and earning credit for learning that has taken place outside a traditional classroom, including military and on-to-job training. Participants will consider their personal barriers to completing a degree and identify ways to overcome them. Door 4
