It's a powerful calling.

This is a beginner's level herbalist certification program focused on simple, home-based medicine-making that celebrates locally-growing, subtropical medicinal plants and herbal traditions reflective of our South Florida community.

The course was created by herbalist Julia Onnie-Hay. Learn about Julia's practice at: www.blessbotanicals.com. The Magic City Herbalist Spring Intensive 2018 is being taught in Miami by herbalist Olivia Narcisse, a graduate of the course.

Sounds like a lot, but will probably only take 1-3 hours per week (designed to be do-able for folks who work full-time, go to school, have kids, like to party, have a life, etc). All homework assignments are due by a date TBA at the end of June in order to receive your certificate at graduation.

2- You will become a member of United Plant Savers.

3 - You create an herbal heritage tree, honoring your recent and distant ancestors that undoubtedly worked with plants as food, medicine and tools for connection to the divine. This is like an art and ritual project that could take many forms.
