Tom Blip
+ Adam The Steve

Thursday 19th April | FREE ENTRY | 18+ | 9pm - Late www.forumsheffield.co.uk

We're delighted to welcome down Blip Discs founder, Tom Blip, for our launch event. The London based disco and funk aficionado has seen his label Blip Discs catch widespread attention over the past few years, and can list the likes of Bonobo and Joy Orbison as fans. A seasoned selector who showcases an array of cuts from disco, funk and afro - expect a set full of surprises.

Tom's own releases of 'Wrong Guanco/Shekere' and 'Sentimental Strings/There Were No Signs' demonstrate his undoubted ability and the former highlights his unique style, with 'Wrong Guanco' sampling a live Congo band. Prepare to get grooving.

Tom is definitely someone to keep an eye on this year and you'll be sure to see his name popping up everywhere in the near future.

On supporting duties will be Sheffield selector Adam The Steve, co-founder of Saul's Sessions. The man has a taste for disco and if the Saul's events are anything to go by then we're in for a treat.
