Join the Mid-Michigan CISMA on Wednesday, May 2nd, from 6:00-8:00 pm for an invasive species landowner workshop at the Fowler Conservation Club! We will meet at the club hall, located at
This is a great event for landowners beginning to learn about invasive species and those already managing and looking for additional information. During the workshop, we'll provide insight and answers to the following questions:
What is a CISMA?
What is an invasive species?
What are some common invasive species in Clinton County?
How do I identify these invasive species?
What are the activities of Mid-Michigan CISMA?
What are some resources I can use to help me manage invasive species on my property?
What can I do to help the efforts of the Mid-Michigan CISMA?
Printed resources will be provided to participants, including an invasive species pocket field guide- "Mid-Michigan CISMA Invasive Species: What's Here and What to Watch-" a handy waterproof and tearproof resource to have in the field!
We are looking forward to this event and hope to see you there!
The Mid-Michigan CISMA is funded in part by the Michigan Invasive Species Grant Program through the Departments of Natural Resouces, Environmental Quality, and Agriculture and Rural Development.
