Come to the Franciscan Life Process Center in Lowell, Mich. for a delightful summer's evening of good food and wonderful music.
Lorinda Jones (harp, dulcimer), Cathy Wilde (pipes, whistles) and Jannell Canerday (fiddle and vocals) will share the music, history, songs, and stories of Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales and send your spirits soaring.
Arrive at 5:30 p.m. for a buffet dinner and stay for a concert of Irish music by na Skylark at 7:30 p.m.
"na Skylark", which simply means "the Skylark” in Irish, is dedicated to playing the traditional music of Ireland, Scotland, and other Celtic lands on Ireland's national instruments: the Irish harp and the Irish uillean ("elbow") pipes. na Skylark weaves these instruments and others into a tapestry of sound and feeling that's truly unique. Imagine the Celtic Women "Off Broadway" and know you're in for a treat!
You may purchase tickets for both dinner and the concert or you may choose to attend the concert only. Either way, we hope to see you there!
