Like many grassroots advocates, you're probably suffering from advocacy fatigue. And at the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, we realize the arts aren't the only thing under threat. How can advocacy organizations work better to coordinate efforts across issues? What can multi-issue advocates do to avoid burnout? Be a part of the solution at this unprecedented convening of advocacy organizations looking to find common ground.
The event will include a panel of intersectional advocates, including Rhona Gerber (CeaseFirePA), Rebecca Kirzner (HIAS), Steve Preston (Office of Mayor Jim Kenney) and Amelia Dogan (STAMP Teen Council Member), moderated by Anne Marie Rhoades, Vice President of Advocacy and Strategic Partnerships at the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance.
After the event, head over to Kite & Key at 18th and Callowhill, where Emerging Arts Leaders: Philadelphia will host a happy hour to keep the conversation going.
