Join the park naturalist on this casual walk to a vernal pool. We will learn what vernal pools are, how they are formed, and why they are so important to many of the animals that live in French Creek State Park. We will even have the chance to look at some amphibian eggs up close!
We will be standing along a road for part of the presentation, so please wear bright colors if possible.
No registration necessary, just meet us at the park office to start the walk.
This is a great family friendly program or extension of the children's DiscoverE class earlier in the day.
