Looking for a uniquely New Orleans event where some of this city's finest food, music and fun celebrate life in the French Quarter? Then come to French Quarter Festival this Spring and enjoy Louisiana's largest FREE music festival.
More than twenty stages will rock the French Quarter throughout the three-day weekend. Music lovers will find traditional and contemporary jazz, Latin, rhythm and blues, Cajun and zydeco, New Orleans funk, classical, swing, rock, international and the many diverse sounds that are part of this city's rich cultural gumbo. Look for more than 100 of New Orleans' favorite musical performers to entertain—with a whole raft of other New Orleans legends and international all-stars. 2018 marks the 35th anniversery of the festival, and the 300th anniversery of the city. To celebrate, there will be a Tricentennial Stage located in the Jax Brewery parking lot surrounded by various ways to learn and celebrate New Orleans' history.
The 2018 festival will have 300 Louisiana acts throughout the weekend. The lineup includes: Irma Thomas, Sweet Crude, Fredy Omar con su Banda, Little Freddie King, Bonerama, Walter Wolfman Washington and the Roadmasters, Amanda Shaw, Big Sam's Funky Nation, Brass-A-Holics, Cyril Neville & Swamp Funk, Darcy Malone and the Tangle, Jeremy Davenport, Ecrib Muller's Twisted Dixie, and many, many more!
This year's festival also includes the addition of a new stage: the Gateway to Bourbon Street. The stage will be on the 100 block of Bourbon Street and will kick off the annual second-line parade that starts the festival at 10am on April 12th.
