“Aspirational Architectures”, curated by Justine Ludwig, features the work of Tanya Goel, Yamini Nayar, Laercio Redondo and Lucia Simek.
“Aspirational Architectures” explores the aims and failures of architecture to form ideal futures and communities. It addresses how built space speaks to human need and desire for a better life or society. Featuring the work of artists Tanya Goel, Yamini Nayar, Laercio Redondo, and Lucia Simek, this exhibition draws from unique experiences, source material, and geographies in order to present an intimate perspective on the subject matter.
The exhibition will open on May 4 and continue through June 8.
The opening reception will begin at 6pm with an artist talk moderated by the exhibition's curator Justine Ludwig, who was recently appointed as the Executive Director of Creative Time.
