Troop 122 -- are you ready to dig in…get dirty…and make a difference? On Saturday, May 12, our Troop 122 scouting family will partner with Kansas City Parks and Recreation staff for the 2018 Dig Day - a day dedicated to making Kansas City even more beautiful on Mother’s Day weekend.
The McGuire family (Kim, Noah and Mark) will be hosting us at our special Swope Park location! We'll be making announcements at the troop meeting.
HOW IT WORKS
*Starting at 9:00 am, Scouts and parents will work with Parks and Rec staff to plant flower beds at specified locations. Our location is at Swope Park!!! We should be on-site for about 2 hours max.
*Bring water, sunscreen, work gloves, a cheerful attitude and be ready to have fun and get your hands dirty
*Dig Day is a fun way for your unit to earn community service hours and work towards your Journey to Excellence goals
