Do you have a deadly talent that you would like to show at the Palm Island Deadly Didge n Dance Fest, 20-22 April, 2018?
If so we would like to invite you to come down to the Bellevue Hotel on the 1st, 15th or the 29th of March or the Old Courthouse Theatre on the 9th or the 23rd of March with the Grand Final being held on the 6th of April.
The judging criteria will be as follows
a) All performers must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island descent.
b) Performance content can be music, spoken word, poetry, dance, etc.
c) A didgeridoo component will be highly favoured

If possible registrations are to be received by the Wednesday of that week and programmed into the next contest session. Each contestant to perform for 10-15mins depending on the schedule. Depending on the number of registrations and the tracking of the program, there may be time for last-minute applicants. A winner will be announced at the end of each session, totalling 5 participants who will then progress to the final. All applicants are able to re-perform at subsequent sessions dependent on available time. Any new registrations will always take priority. By the last session night, 5 final-contenders would have been decided with an additional 3 contenders chosen from all previous performances as wildcards. Two (2) winners from the final night will be announced and will be scheduled into the Deadly Didge n Dance Fest, 20-22 April, 2018 with 2x 30-45min slots each.
