Free parent seminar presented by Mark Le Messurier.
In this lively and practical session Mark looks at the BIG questions parents often ask:
Siblings give one another something special that a parent can’t. What is it? Will the relationship my kids have with each other influence the sort of person they become? If my child is bullied by a brother or sister, are they more likely to show bullying behaviours themselves? Why do my kids fight so much? Does it matter? How should I handle it? One of my kids has special needs and I know this takes a toll on his brother and sister. How can I best handle this? What is the line between sibling rivalry and sibling abuse?
When the ‘sibling relationships’ are supported by parents in the early years they are likely to be more compassionate, tolerant of difference and family connections will be stronger.
