Multifaceted artist, poet, author, and educator, Massey, is most commonly known for her poetry writing and riveting performances. Chantel Massey, Indianapolis native, recently released her first book Bursting At The Seams: A Collection of Poetry (VK Press) in Feb, 2018. Currently she teaches at an all girls middle school, where she encourages students to independently critique ideas, self-advocate, work hard, and to be resilient. Chantel Massey is authentic and original in her writing and performances. Chantel Massey facilitates spaces for her audience and reader to experience the words for themselves. As a passionate writer and poet who loves to play with imagery exploring human rights, social justice, womanhood, sexuality, religion, spirituality, and more. Chantel Massey wishes to inspire others through art to think better and higher about themselves and each other through self-expression. Chantel Massey is passionate about education, youth development, art and self-expression.

Gabrielle Patterson is a poet, Actress, Playwrite and show host who hails from Indianapolis. She is a slam competitor and friend of the Arts. 13 years on the scene and still learning….still growing.

Teayarnna W: Conversation is my greatest acquisition in life. I roll on a exercise ball alone at home and talk to the ancestors. Occasionally writing happens in the hours I am free from conversing?! I am boring and entertaining to myself.
