Mountain lions eat a variety of species, but are less knownto eat wild horses. To determine prey choice, particularly to determine the consumption of feral horses, a resident mountain lion in the Virginia MountainRange was trapped and fitted with a GPS collar and monitored over the course of 10 months. This presentation will focus on live trapping techniques and the diet results, along with some amazing photos!! NOTE: seating is limited - first come first seated!
