2ND FRIDAY ART NIGHT at GALLERY 221 on FRIDAY THE 13TH
A painting can be worth a thousand words. Art has spoken loudly throughout history, lifting the downtrodden and encouraging the imprisoned. Today art has become the last voice of true freedom, and has set the stage for "ART AS SPEECH"
NEW FEATURED EXHIBIT: "Art as Speech" showcases provocative and controversial works by a talented group of local artists advocating the right to freedom of expression, and challenging censorship by channeling their creativity through their medium and craft as they give voice to each work barring their soul to the viewer.
ART STUDIOS 221 & 2ND FLOOR GALLERIES WILL BE OPEN: including the Collectors Gallery, the Hollander Gallery and the Working Artists’ Studios of Larry Crane, Michael Darr, Mike Gaines, Nathan Terry, Greg Lahti, Sean LeCrone and more!
Be sure to check out all we have to offer including guided gallery tours, live demos by resident artists, inquire about upcoming art classes and private lessons offered by resident artists, and of course enjoy some beer, wine, and refreshments while getting the skiny on the new apartments at RESIDENCES 221.
