This months gaming event will be a break from the mystical glories of the Age of Sigmar, and will see us catapulted into the dark battlefields of the 41st Millennium. Throughout April participants will do battle using 1000 points of matched play armies gaining honour and glory, and accruing League points through games, sportsmanship and admiration for painted armies.

But what’s the catch? Simple; your ENTIRE army has to fit into a single Citadel Skirmish Case!

Games start on the 2nd April and the league finishes on the 29th April with an awards ceremony at 2pm. Games MUST be booked in.

The league is a round robin league, so someone must play everyone else once, before playing another person again.
Participants will be using 1000pts of matched play forces, using the detachment rules and restrictions from the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook. Army lists are not changeable between games; once it’s written, that’s it.

All models must be fully built and WYSIWYG; what you see is what you get. No bolt pistols that are plasma pistols, or scything talons that are actually devourers! That’s not to say conversions aren’t allowed, and if there’s any confusion over a model, speak with store staff for clarity.

Each participant must bring the appropriate rules, dice and tape measures to their games, as well as a printed army list for their opponent to view. Absolutely no use of Army list building apps is allowed.

Missions are played on a 4x4 board in store, using the Eternal War rules sets from the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook and Chapter Approved book. Ensure you play different missions by rolling for each mission every time. Variety is the spice of life!

There will be four awards for the league; one for most Game points, Painting points, Sportsmanship points, and one for the overall winner. No one player can receive more than one of the awards. The points system has been arranged so that it reflects the enjoyment of a game and an opponent, the tactical skill of the players, and their painting skills as well. You can develop your armies paint scheme as you progress through the league and gain more points from it, just as playing against a fun opponent or attending more games can gain you more points for Sportsmanship and Game categories.

Ask in store for more infromation and to get signed up!
