The Friends of the Garland County Library will be holding their giant annual book sale on May 3rd, 4th, and 5th in the library’s auditorium. The sale opens on Thursday, May 3rd from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a members-only pre-sale. The sale is open to the general public on Friday, May 4th and Saturday, May 5th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Membership cards can be picked up at the library or through the Friends of the Library link on the library’s website, www.gclibrary.com. A $5 membership donation grants access to the pre-sale on Thursday, May 3rd. Memberships will be available at the door, but may cause a delay in entering the sale. Purchase memberships in advance, if possible.
Find your favorite authors or something new among the thousands of books at incredible prices. Selection includes fiction books, encyclopedias, reference books, movies, music, puzzles, children’s books, and so much more.
The Friends of the Garland County Library accepts donations of gently used books, DVDs, CDs, puzzles, magazines, and more throughout the year. Proceeds from used books purchased in the book sale room benefits the Garland County Library and helps fund special programming. The Friends of the Library is a 501c3 non-profit support group, therefore all donations made to the FOL are tax deductible.
