Chocolate Pairings Event

Aaron's Books and the General Sutter Inn invite you to join us for an evening of chocolate tastings and discussion with author Megan Giller.
Each ticket includes five pairings of craft chocolate with award-winning local cheeses from The Farm at Doe Run, as well as a copy of Megan's book Bean-To-Bar Chocolate, which is a finalist for a 2018 Gourmand World Cookbook Award.
Megan will lead us through the recent rise of craft chocolate, with directly sourced ingredients from cacao bean farms and an amazing range of flavors. We'll learn about the chocolate-making process and understand how chocolate's flavor depends on where the cacao was grown. She will teach us how to best pair this incredible chocolate with coffee, beer, spirits, and bread, capped by the chocolate and cheese pairings.
Megan Giller is a Brooklyn-based writer and editor with strong connections to the food world in both New York City and Austin, TX. The evening's Nathan Miller chocolate and Doe Run cheeses are provided by Rooster Street Butcher in downtown Lititz.
