Are you interested in volunteering with the Innocence Project of Minnesota? If so, please join us on April 11th at 6pm where you will meet with IPMN Executive Director Nick Vilbas and Legal Director Julie Jonas. With only 2 full-time staff, IPMN needs your help to achieve our maximum potential! It's really hard to coordinate an effective volunteer program one-on-one over email, so let's get together to meet and organize in person!
At this meeting we will get to know each other and discuss various opportunities to volunteer. This will include opportunities on both the legal and non-legal aspects of our work. You do not need to be a lawyer or have a background in the law to volunteer and make a difference with IPMN! Non-legal opportunities may include event planning, public outreach, social media and fundraising. Having a healthy and thriving non-profit is key to our mission!
The meeting will be held in Conference Room 100E in the Giddens Alumni Learning Center located at 1556 Hewitt Avenue on the Hamline University campus.
The meeting is FREE and you don't need a ticket to attend but if you are going to attend, please register a ticket so that we can have an accurate headcount. If you are interested in volunteering but are unable to join us at this meeting, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to seeing you on April 11th!
