The first annual All-School Spring Food Drive – the largest coordinated effort between the Peninsula School District and the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation's #CommunityHarvest project – will take place April 23-27!
The District-wide food drive will help fill participating partner's shelves (Gig Harbor Peninsula FISH Food Bank and Food Backpacks 4Kids) at a critical time of the year.
Schools will collect foods through out the week - competing against each other in the elementary, middle and high school categories to see which can bring in the largest amount donations.
Businesses, organizations and residents may choose to support a school with their own food drive or monetary donation.
If any citizen, group, business, church or organization would like to help a school of their choice, please contact Lindsey or Julie at the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation at 253-514-6338.
