In this 2 hour class we will cover both physical and mental skills to protect yourself from potentially dangerous situations. Awareness, Prevention, Avoidance, De-escalation & Boundary Setting will be topics of discussion. Physical training will include…
• Understanding Vital Targets, where and how to hit them.
• High repetition of basic striking and kicking on pad and bags.
• Defense from common standing attacks such as grabs (wrist, chokes, and holds)
• Basic defense from ground positions including kicking & distancing, and pinned positions on the ground.
No previous experience is required. Open to ages 13+.
