Celebrate the centennial of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and the importance birds play in the park and area ecosystems in this month's Facebook Live. Hear from Glacier National Park Wildlife Biologist Lisa Bate who will share with us the significance of this act and why over 150 organizations have joined entities like National Geographic and the National Audubon Society to celebrate birds throughout 2018, the “Year of the Bird.”

Learn more about Glacier National Park’s golden eagle migration monitoring program, black swift research, and the park's harlequin duck population, all projects funded through your generous donations to the Glacier Conservancy.

Montana Wild Wings Recovery Center will join the program with special raptor guests from the center: Duke, the peregrine falcon and Homer, a great gray owl.
