IRC’s International Relations Forum (IRForum) “Rogue States: Big Problems, Little Countries” will be hosted in our UCF Global Building (room 101) on April 10, 2018, starting at noon. “Rogue States”, as dubbed by Presidents George W Bush and Donald Trump, are lone anti-status quo nations with nuclear aspirations. Modern examples have included the governments of Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, Cuba, and North Korea. Our event seeks to educate students on these countries’ tools, effectiveness of American influence, and how to normalize these relations.
The IRForum will cover three panels: “Tools of Rogue States”, “Effectiveness of American Influence”, and “Transitioning from Rogue State”.
