“Bags Packed and Headed to the Rockies: The Legacy of Immigration in Fort Collins”” is a museum exhibit curated by CSU History graduate students. It opens April 6th and will be open through April 28th at the Global Village Museum in downtown Fort Collins.
This exhibit emphasizes the voices of the people and communities that have shaped Fort Collins. It will cover the various communities that left a lasting legacy over the past 200 years through historic photographs, objects, and interpretations. For example, come experience how German immigrants from Russia and Hispanic immigrants overcame discrimination to build Fort Collins into what it is today through food, education, and architecture.
Make sure to stop by during the Fort Collins First Friday Gallery Walk, as tickets are half-price!
