Join us in the studio (White farm house next to big red barn, 1624 highway 15) for an evening of goats milk soap making from scratch. Our friend Mel McLaughlin from Little Rock farm in Seeley’s Bay will walk you through making 4 bars of soap with goats milk from her farm.
A little about Mel: “I’ve be raising dairy goats for 9 yrs, striving for excellence in the show ring as well as for production, With 5 purebred breeds.
I use the milk for the table, raising pigs as well as making soap.
Goats milk soap is an artisanal soap made using a cold press technique, goats milk produces an extra rich soft bar of soap.
The art of combining the correct ingredients at the right time will produce a rich lather and leave your skin feeling clean and moisturized.”
