On Wednesday, 11 April, a Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom Hashoah) event at GCC, room B21 from 6-8 PM, will be held. This is a FREE event and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

The actual Holocaust Remembrance Day for 2018 is 12 April. This day is used to remember particularly the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, which began on 19 April, 1943.

The first part of the presentation would include audience participation. The primary topic of discussion will be:
Holocaust-derived Scientific Data: Can It's Use Be Justified? Is It's Use Ethical?

A DVD of pics and video, taken while Faculty Member, Gary Patterson, lived in Krakow, Poland for a year as a Fulbright Teacher Exchange Grantee, will then be shown.
