During this 6 week session we will cultivate:
Knowledge, Strength (physical, mental, emotional), Sensuality, Self-love, Body awareness
Topics we will discuss include:
The female body – anatomy, cultural and social implications, connection/disconnection to ourselves, bladder and bowel function, sexuality and sexual activity, pregnancy and childbirth
Learn about the structure of your pelvis, pelvic floor and core muscles, and how it relates to your ribcage, lower back, and hips. Understand how your pelvic health is connected to your breath, stress, and nervous system. Beyond intellectual learning, start to strengthen your feeling sense - building awareness through guided breathing, meditations, and exercises to help you tune in to your female body.
A community of women is a powerful thing – together we will create a safe space for questions, discussion, and connection with one another.
*This is not a substitute for assessment and treatment. Ideally you will have a one on one pelvic health session prior to this course so you have personalized recommendations. It is difficult to give personal programs in a group setting. If I know you ahead of time, I am much more likely to offer you more of what you need in the class, which is great!
