Join us at Golden River Sports on Thursday, April 5th for our first ever Yoga Flow specific to paddlers. This will be an all levels class, no experience necessary. This first class will focus specifically on shoulder strengthening exercises and stretches to help you perfect those paddle strokes for the upcoming season!
The class will be taught by local yogi and river folk, Allison Piper White. The flow will be about 60 minutes long and participants are expected to bring their own mat (or comfy, thick towel) and water. The class is a $10 suggested donation with 100% going to our awesome instructor!
Allison came to yoga as a runner looking for a remedy for tight muscles. What she found was a way to balance both body and mind. She works to help people in all different bodies find their own sense of balance. Her classes are down-to-earth and practical. Allison takes a special interest in adaptive yoga and yoga for athletes and loves to individualize classes to match her students’ unique needs.
