Senior Theatre Arts majors Annika Perez-Krikorian and Jacqueline Bertagnoli, in conjunction with the Center for Cura Personalis, invite you to their senior capstone production of Next To Normal.
Next to Normal is a musical that confronts the complex realities of mental health, suicide, and grief, while still providing a sense of hope and even catharsis. It follows the story of a mother who is struggling with crippling mental illness and examines the toll that this takes on her family as they do their best to make it day by day in an attempt to find some semblance of "normal."
The performance will take place on April 5th in the Magnuson Theatre beginning at 7pm with an optional talkback immediately after. If students are interested in attending this production, we will be ticketing in the Hemmingson Center on April 4th from 11am-1pm and tickets will also be available at the door.
The performance is free, but if you desire to offer a donation at the door, all proceeds will directly benefit the JED foundation, an organization that raises money to advance and improve research and treatment methods for mental illness in young adults and college students.
