The Strafford County Public Health Network and Goodwin Community Health is partnering with UNH Cooperative Extension and Physician’s Association of Rochester to provide a free nutrition and cooking class open to all who are interested. This course will teach you how to shop for groceries on a budget, how to cook healthy for your family, and technique’s in the kitchen to satisfy everyone. We encourage you to attend with your family!
If you qualify for food stamps, WIC, Medicaid, Housing Assistance, or other types of financial assistance, then you qualify to participate at no cost to you. Not only will you get to taste the delicious and nutritious recipes during the class, but you will also be sent home with all the ingredients to cook it on your own for FREE! Lastly, for every class you attend, you will receive a raffle ticket to enter to win a surprise gift! If you attend all sessions you will get 10 raffle tickets entered. We require that all attendees attend all 6 courses.
