Ethics in Action: exploring the great professional debates on our time

Almost a year on from the Ethics in Action publication we want to open up a conversation about ethics in everyday practice… what you have experienced, what are the great ethical issues that you are faced with day to day and what we understand is right to do.

As early childhood education fights for a place in the national political agenda, educators are grappling with daily decisions that shape the ethical dimensions of our profession. The place of food in play…? What is an authentic assessment…? Are graduations ceremonies OK…? Should we alert children to the political issues of our time…?

This forum will offer opportunities for our members to discuss our thoughts on these everyday practices and how we can reshape our collective action.
