Yoga nidra is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. The fifth stage of the 8 limbs of Patanjali, Pratyahara or withdrawal of the senses, can be attained through a deep systematic guided relaxation. This withdrawal allows us to open the gates of the subconscious and objectively observe our habits that are perhaps detrimental to our health and which likely interfere with our inner growth.

Tibetan Gong sound Healing deepens the inner journey to the subconscious by powerful sounds and vibrations. The Gong is one of man’s most powerful and oldest transformational and therapeutic instruments. It has been used for ritual, ceremony, prayer, and meditation since the Bronze Age. While its sound is relaxing and calming, centering and energizing, transforming and healing, gongs have been used in yoga, sound meditation, and vibrational therapy from the distant past to present.

Your instructor Elke Sinclair
Elke was introduced to sound healing 25 years ago by Aboriginal Noongar Elder, Maxine Fumagalli with a profound digeridoo healing experience. This ignited a lifelong journey using sacred sound as a healing tool and a means of connecting to spirit.

She lived in Australia for several years (raising her family) and wass mentored by Maxine in energy and sound healing practices.
In 2010 Elke graduated from Windsong school of Healing (Vancouver Island) as a Holistic Health Practitioner and has continued her sound healing training with the Acutonics Institute of Integrative Medicine (Arizona).

Most recently, 2017/18, she attended Gong Yoga training with Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux (New York City).

Elke loves to introduce people to the deep sense of peace and relaxation that can be experienced using the sound and vibrations of the gong, tibetan bowls, tuning forks and other world instruments.
