The Annual Cultural Celebration will take place Saturday, April 14, from 4-7 p.m. in the Shaw Center Lobby. This event is open to the community and provides free food samples and cultural displays. We may even have some free entertainment! There will be passports for children and youth to use to get stickers at the various booths to represent where they have "traveled" at the event.
Come learn about Polynesian culture and try a musubi, or learn about the cultural history of African American hair in the "Don't Touch My Hair" display by Valynncia Giles. There will be many more displays and things to learn and try! This event is sponsored by the Intercultural Office, BSU, Latino, International and Polynesian clubs as well as COSA!
We still have some room for more people to help or do a table. Please contact Diana Jones ASAP if interested: firstname.lastname@example.org or 641.784.5412.
