2018 Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award (JADA)
ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN and close Friday 5pm 10th August
The JADA is Australia’s richest regional drawing prize, with total prize money of $40,000 on offer. The major first prize is $30,000 and further acquisitions to the value of $10,000.
The JADA provides a wonderful opportunity for artists to explore the medium of drawing while allowing the gallery to collect a unique and impressive collection of contemporary Australian drawings.
Each year the JADA attracts entries from some of Australia’s leading artists who work in the medium of drawing, including Gosia Wlodarczak, Noel McKenna, David Fairbairn, and Todd Fuller.
The Grafton Regional Gallery would like to thank major sponsors, the Friends of the Grafton Gallery as well as The Daily Examiner, S & D Welch Removals, and Yulgilbar Foundation. Without the support of the community the JADA would not be possible.
This major cultural event in presented event two years by the Grafton Regional Gallery, a cultural service of the Clarence Valley Council.
