Join a Park Ranger at Grandfather Mountain State Park for a Spring Wildflower Hike along the Profile Trail! This will be a 2-mile round-trip hike at a fairly slow pace through predominantly rich and acidic cove forest. This section of the trail is easy but uneven and often muddy. Wear close-toed walking shoes and bring some water and snacks. All experience levels are welcome and you may bring field guides, cameras, or binoculars. Please leave pets at home.
Meet at the Profile Trail Head (4198 Hwy 105 South). For more information, directions and contact info, please see the State Park website: https://www.ncparks.gov/grandfather-mountain-state-park/events-and-programs/2018-annual-wildflower-walks-3
