Join us on April 9th from 7 PM to 10 PM for a charity beer and board games night featuring our one-off brew Pirate Queen Irish Red Ale! Pirate Queen was brewed on March 8 in celebration of International Women’s Day and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Sistering. Sistering is a multi-service agency supporting women from across Toronto who experience first hand the impact of marginalization and poverty.

Board games will be available to play, but attendees are free to and encouraged to bring along their favourites!

Admission requires one of the following:

Pay-what-you-can donation* to Sistering or one of the following (new/unused) toiletries:

• Shampoo/ Conditioner
• Toothpaste/ Toothbrushes
• Deodorant
• Body lotion/ Body wash
• Cosmetics
• Brushes and combs
• Hair elastics and scrunchies
• Tampons and pads

*If you would like to make an online donation to the event ahead of time (this method includes a tax receipt)- please visit https://app.etapestry.com/hosted/Sistering/OnlineDonation.html and enter ‘granite’ into the Additional Information section on the Payment Info page so we can account for your donation! Cash donations will also be accepted at the event. All donations received will go directly to Sistering.

Sistering is a multi-service agency supporting women from across Toronto who experience first hand the impact of marginalization and poverty. They may be homeless, or are at risk of becoming homeless. Our 24/7 Drop In supports women with low barrier shelter; hot meals; crisis intervention and trauma informed counselling; social and housing support; and mental health case support. Participants include women with substance and/or mental health issues; sex workers; immigrant and refugee women; and women who have experienced trauma and violence.
