Named just last month the 2018 best female vocalist and third place female entertainer of the year at the annual North America Country Music Association International competition in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, rhythm guitar player and lead vocalist Sandé Lollis is a powerhouse of energy and melodic bliss; she is backed by two talented and passionate instrumentalists. Karen Childress-Evans, on viola, brings achingly beautiful tones and a classic sensibility to the band; and Alberto González, on upright bass, has an innate sense of groove, with a solid beat and imaginative fills, adding depth to the trio’s unique sound.
Lollis was the 2017 best female vocalist and best female entertainer of the year at the annual West Coast Country Music Association competition.
Together, Enter the Blue Sky combines decades of experience and individual talent, and is fast becoming a vibrant musical force in the regional music scene.

"Insanely good! Original music there is no doubt about this from the opening chords to the ending verses. The sincerity of the lyrics and their delivery is nuanced and powerful at the same time. The guitar work is not pretentious and the singer-songwriter crafts songs with just enough hook to keep them interesting without pandering to commercial tastes. She knows what she is doing; the songs make you want to know her. This is local artistry that could readily be globalbut sure makes you glad you live here. Go see them!" - Doug, Sheldons Service Station
"A snapshot of the band: Lollis plays acoustic guitar and has a powerful beacon of a voice, which the band frames, and there are stories being told. Blending genres too much to be easily pigeonholed, Lollis strong vocals and interesting lyrics are the centerpiece in a band that largely avoids showy displays of instrumental prowess. Thirty minutes of listening and Lollis talent as a wordsmith is evident."
- Frank Kocher, San Diego Troubadour
"Enter the Blue Sky creates a warm atmosphere in which they take you the listener into their world of rich melodies and sincere story telling. The members blend together beautifully creating a welcoming soundscape for the audience. The talent and experience of the band collectively is showcased and the shows are always impressive."
- Nyroh H., Hard Rock Cafe
"What a treat! San Diego is lucky to have this homegrown talent. Sande's songwriting goes right to your heart, every word and note, and the entire band lifts those songs to the Blue Sky." - Toni C. DiMilles
