In a lively, hands-on two-hour presentation, the Racial Equity Institute (REI), brought to New Orleans by organizers of the Campaign for an Equitable New Orleans (CENO), will show us how race and racism were constructed in the US, as well as how systems of education, health, housing, income, and criminal justice all work together to influence institutions and open gaps between black and brown Americans, and their white counterparts.

The program kicks off with a light dinner (included in your ticket price), and -- since we’re co-sponsoring the event with 504ward, Young Leadership Council (YLC), the Urban League of Louisiana Young Professionals - Greater New Orleans Chapter, and the HYPLA - Hispanic Young Professionals of Louisiana - we’ll make sure there’s plenty of time to engage with the other change-makers in the room.

Let’s join CENO in its goal to make NOLA the most equitable city in America.

Register on eventbrite with code "EQUITY4NOLA" for $10 off the ticket price.
