Each one of us has experienced some form of hurt in the past. Some have been cheated on or sexually abused, others robbed by their business partners. Many have had to deal with abandonment, psychological battering, or even physical battering and most of us have had to deal with the loss of a loved one at some point or another. The list is endless.
For some of us, the hurt was so overwhelming that we are still carrying it around. For others, the hurt was minor and we were able to move on. I, myself had to deal with sexual abuse. But regardless of the kind or size of the hurt, or even when it happened, most likely the hurt, or more specifically the event that caused the hurt, has left a lasting impact on you.
Neuroscience has discovered that our minds keep records of not only what has happened to us but also what happened to our parents and grandparents. Furthermore, those records play over and over again in the background of our daily lives. Although it is hard to admit, we become unwittingly ruled by our unconscious. Sometimes it seems that those unconscious records help us through life. However most of the times those unconscious records trick us and undermine us.
In today's workshop you will learn how to address and neutralize the unconscious pain and hurt that lingers inside of each of us when we have experienced hurt. I will share with you my own journey as well as explain the work that I do with my coaching clients.
I will also share several tools that, when practiced on your own, can give you a sense of hope, renewal, and peace and a deep sense of contentment.
