Who are we? London Vegan Voices is a collaboratively-run London-based vegan group that runs monthly meetings. We have three primary aims:
1. Learning focused: To promote greater awareness and understanding of the ways in which veganism / speciesism interacts with other forms of oppression and how we can, as a community, promote the voices of marginalised members of our community; vegans of colour and others who can be silenced and experience oppression within our spaces.
2. Highlighting marginalised voices: To promote the work and voices of vegans of colour and other marginalised members of our community through community spotlights, talks and on-line resources sharing.
3. Building community: Creating a London-based group of individuals working toward making a space that is as inclusive as possible and, together, working with vegan spaces in and around London. This includes catering our monthly meetings with interesting speakers, covering a diverse range of topics relevant to London vegans.

Safe space policy:
This group is open to ALL vegans, whether you live in London or not. There is no level of knowledge you need to attend. HOWEVER, this space aims to make all participants feel as safe and comfortable as possible by prohibiting any hate speech or discrimination of any kind. As this group is based around learning and supporting one another, we encourage all members to help each other grow, while being open to growing ourselves. It is therefore required that all participants do not support oppression of any kind and are interested in working together to actively dismantle these systems within our communities and the broader society.
