It’s that time of year again! The shad and stripers are on their way up the James and the Rappahannock rivers.
This is the perfect time to get youngsters and the whole family out on the water.
Tee Clarkson, Outdoors columnist for the Richmond Times Dispatch, and owner of Virginia Outside, a summer fishing and outdoor camp, will be on hand at Green Top, Monday April 9th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with local guide and Green Top Outfitter, Josh Saunders of Peake Tide. Tee and Josh will discuss conventional and fly fishing tactics for catching shad and stripers from the bank and from the boat on the James and Rappahannock Rivers.
The program is designed for kids ages 6-16 and their parents.
This is a free seminar and attendees will receive a $10 off a $50 or more purchase on your next shopping visit at Green Top.
