From Pain To Purpose, Inc. will present our Healing Pain Through The Arts - Teen Spotlight Awards on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 4-8 pm. This amazing event will be an evening of celebrating our youth who have overcome life's adversities, and are using their gifts and talents to inspire others. This semi-formal event will be held at Greenforest Community Baptist Church (Early Childhood Learning Center), located at 3250 Rainbow Drive, Decatur, Ga. Our Red Carpet will be covered by some of Atlanta's Youth Media Correspondents, such as Taj Hollins-"On Point w/ Taj" partnered w/Inform Magazine & NOLA Premiere Media.
We have honored 4 Teen Spotlight Award Recipients over a period of 3 years (2014-2016) at our Healing Pain Through The Arts - Open Mic Night events, but this year we are designating an entire Awards Ceremony for this awesome occasion. Due to the generous donations of our previous Sponsors, we have been able to be a tremendous blessing to our previous award recipients.
Our event attendees will be blown away and very inspired by the life stories of our youth, who are making great strides for themselves and others. We are still seeking Teen Nominees, who can be nominated through April 1st via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please provide name, age, school, parent contact and their story about what adversity they have overcome, and how they are using their gifts and talents to inspire others.
Contact us for Opportunities to support our youth: Media (TV, radio, blog, magazine, photographer), Sponsors, Volunteers, Vendors, Business Card/Mini Product Swag Bag, Step & Repeat Logo Placement.
