Navigating the law as a real estate agent can be daunting at times, especially when faced with unusual or uncommon matters. This presentation focuses on both the standard and the uncommon information that can assist you with being compliant with your obligations as a real estate agent.
This session will be led by Peter Hoolihan, Lawyer from our property law team. Day to day, Peter supports our Conveyancing Manager, Kelly Bush, providing advice to answer your questions and examine unusual conveyancing problems.
This Griffin Legal Session will include tips to recognise a compliant Contract for Sale, and what documents are required in an uncommon case, including Units Plans with only two units.
The session will also consider what changes can be made to a Contract for Sale at an Auction, and what needs to be discussed with the parties beforehand, and agent obligations during unusual conveyances, including when the parties request the deposit to be invested.
This session is useful for real estate agents and directors (commercial and residential).
