Romantic, witty, dramatic, ridiculous, Much Ado About Nothing is undoubtedly one of the best comedies ever written! It is a tale of love and honor, practical jokes and witty banter, evil schemers and the power of love. This play has something enjoyable for everyone, whether you love Shakespeare or have never seen a single one of his plays. The comedic scenarios of mistaken identity, eavesdropping, and pompous windbaggery will delight even the youngest in the audience, while the wittiness of metaphors and banter will delight those with sharp ears and a quick mind.

The story is one of romance and heartbreak. A crew of noble young men, spending their summer at Leonata's house in Italy, find themselves entangled in two love connections. One is the young Claudio, who has fallen head over heels for Hero, the beautiful daughter of Leonata. Their good friends, Benedick and Beatrice, both are utterly opposed to the idea of love and instead engage in battles of wit whenever they meet. The household determines to use all their powers to make these two fall in love with each other, and the resulting confusion is absolute hilarity. Meanwhile, the evil Dona Juana is trying to ruin the happiness of Hero and is confounded by the ridiculous and bumbling Watch, commanded by their even more ridiculous chief, Dogberry. It is a rollicking ride that will hold your attention from beginning to end, giving you many laughs and a few profound thoughts.

Grove City Christian Academy's middle and highschoolers, from 7th-12th grade are combining their forces to bring this piece to the stage, aided by the intrepid leadership of Mr. Ross Kucks and Mrs. Faith Fedor. Come on out at 7:00 P.M., March 22nd, 23rd, and 24th for an evening of fun and delight!
