Resilience is the happy knack of being able to bungy jump through life. When the inevitable pitfalls and setbacks of life occur, it is as if you have an elasticised rope around your middle that helps you bounce back from hard times.

This Parent Forward Workshop with Mr Clark Wight will focus on:

What is resilience?
Why is it important?
Why is it more important now?
What can we do as a school and as families to promote and encourage resilience in our children (and us)?
What are the resilience pathways we can start to build early?
Ten tips for creating resilient families.

Surveys of young people by Resilient Youth Australia confirm that resilience is the active ingredient in creating great outcomes for our children. The resilience pathways are the support mechanisms that every child deserves.
