Come & celebrate with us at the opening party for Sheffield Yoga Festival!
This is a donation based event - with a suggested donation of £10. All proceeds will be going toward new community organisation Maha Project, which aims to bring yoga out of studios and into communities, reaching people across South Yorkshire.
This will be an evening of rousing music and captivating talks from a group of Sheffielders who want to share their unique and diverse yoga experience with you.
Join us for a night of Kirtan jam lead by a group of talented yoga musicans.
And, Pech Kucha style talks. Pecha Kucha is a style of presenting that originates from Japan - speakers have 20 images which show for 20 seconds, during which time they present to the audience on their chosen subject. For more info see here http://www.pechakucha.org/
Five people from the city will be presenting on 'What yoga means to them' - expect five completely different approaches and exciting perspectives on yoga and practice.
